EcoCrafty is a green catering business that operates in the Portland, Oregon area. The website was designed by Oakley Design Studios and I did the engineering part of the job. One problem I faced with this website was getting it to display correctly in Internet Explorer. Almost every website I create, I have to make a separate stylesheet for IE. It's annoying to say the least, and I hope IE goes away soon :).
Arbe Homes, LLC was one of the first paid website projects I took up. The design and engineering was done by me. This one took a while to complete because the client was out of the country for an extended period, but I think it's all finished up now.
This website was designed by Oakley Design Studios, and my part in the design process was to code it and make sure it displayed correctly in different browsers. Pretty simple site but I did learn quite a bit about div's that I didn't know before. Mostly techniques on column alignment and floating.
Along with coding this website, I played a somewhat important part in the movie itself. I was given the opportunity to create the opening credit sequence for Not Dead Yet. When the movie goes public I will have the opening credits up on my website for your enjoyment.
Uberstock.com was designed and coded by me. The purpose of this website is to basically link visitors to a stock footage gallery on iStock. The gallery belongs to Funnelbox Motion Picture Studios, where I work and do a lot of motion graphics and animation.
Silver Bullet Design is the personal portfolio of Michael Ewing. He needed his website coded so I jumped at the opportunity. Mr.Ewing designed the website and handed it over to me to prepare it for the web. Pretty old project but I thought I'd put it up here with the rest of my stuff.

It has been an extremely busy past few months for me. New full-time job, more new freelance work, summer, and life in general. I have learned so much since finishing school and I keep learning more every day I go to work. Things have been going well for me and I'm working hard to keep it that way.
I wanted to take some time to update my website since it's been dead for the past two months or so. Within the next few days I will start adding more of my work, and hopefully continue adding stuff regularly instead of every few months. I will start collecting my new work and it should start turning up on the website in the next week. Expect some good stuff on here.
This is an opening credits sequence that was designed from scratch and animated for a student project. The environment was created in AfterEffects with 3D layers. Tree sihouettes were placed along a 3D plane and then I flew the camera through the environment.
With this personal project my intent was to create a logo and business card for an imaginary client. I started sketching out the logo and it eventually evolved into something much better after I went digital with it. The card design is simple and elegant, with a stylish treatment on the back side.
My business card has arrived from the printshop and I am happy with how the colors turned out.
Another poster I worked on for a few hours. It is a political piece that expresses feelings about the lack of unity in the country. My main goal with this one was to try to make the type feel like it belonged on the surface of the background material.
Finally sent my business card and postcard out to print today. It was a long time coming, many designs have been scrapped, and I have chosen this one. I did my best to unify the cards with this website and with my resume.
This is a website I designed for a fictional photography blog. It includes a front page with introduction to what the page is about, an article section, daily photos, and of course two other pages that explain the background of the company, and contact info for feedback. Web design is a new endeavor for me so I am always trying to learn new techniques to improve upon my current skill set.

As you can see, I have done a complete re-design of my portfolio. One of the main reasons for the change was because I wanted a cleaner look, and also to make it an easier experience for the user. I will be posting recent work on this particular page of my website, as well as having an archive of all my previously posted works under the gallery section.
A typographical 11x17 inch print I designed for my studio class. I wanted to make something that was not symmetrical, horizontal, or vertical in nature. I made the decision to rotate the whole design after it was completed. The 45° rotation makes the composition a bit more lively.
This is an 11x17 inch print I designed for my studio class. I have always been fascinated by the four colors represented in CMYK, and I just wanted to design something simple, yet catchy. All in all I am happy with the way this piece turned out.
Sunset photograph from a trip to a river about forty minutes from my residence.
The inspiration behind this print was Rogue Wave. I was introduced to these guys at a Nada Surf show several years back. I wanted to create a flier for their show that happened on the date shown in the piece. The seahorse was just something I came across so I decided to give it a try, and it came out looking pretty catchy.
